lyrics
Faster pace
Master race
Young and old
Come and see
Them not me
Coming through
Don’t you run
Damage done
Demon’s eye
Hidin’ the truth tell a lie
Will you shoot
Feel the boot
Scrape the curve
Get what you fucking deserve
Better believe it
The shit’s stuck on you
Out of my way kid
Face will turn blue
End of days
We will pay
Holy ghost
So derailed
Thoughts impaled
Eat the sun
You resist
Coexist
From above
Sucking out all of the love
You erase
Endless chase
Wild hunt
All of our knives will be blunt
Better believe it
The shit’s stuck on you
Out of my way kid
Face will turn blue
Watch these cities as they are crumbling
The well is drenched, the deed is done
Watch this horseman when he speaks to you
His blade all set to cut you down
As we prepare ourselves spiritually, physically, and mentally for Sunnata’s upcoming Chasing Shadows, it is as good a time as any to reflect upon the band’s incredible discography, which stands as one of the finest in all of sludge/ stoner, and even (modern) doom for that matter. Zorya is probably Sunnata’s heaviest album and though it is a smidgen less dynamic than Outlands, it is the best entry point for new listeners who want to know what’s what. Perfect soundtrack for steamrolling your foes. Ippocalyptica
...wandering into a wooded night, the sky flashes unearthly bright, silhouette of an enormous, antlered figure. Your ears may not translate Outlands' building, tribal sounds that coalesce from chants, guitar building from meditative to Earth-shattering riffs, eternal grooves, and a general sense of mysticism, into my own ocular imaginings. You may not see the sky crack open when Szymon Ewertowski and Adrian Gadomski sing that last, guttural "Higher!" Music is subjective. Outlands is incredible. Nicholasw
Combining crooned murder ballads with raw, angsty hard rock hooks, Melbourne's The Ugly Kings are a wrecking crew well worth watching. Bandcamp New & Notable Sep 15, 2021
